The Ayurvedic massage is part of an ancient Indian system called Ayurvedic Medicine: (ayur-life; veda-knowledge). It is one of the first therapies known to man, a holistic medicine from India. Being a holistic medicine, it aims at the human being as a whole, aiming to harmonize and heal not only the physical body but also the energetic body. Ayurveda believes that everything in the cosmos is composed of 5 elements: Ether, Air, Fire, Water and Earth and that each individual represents a unique combination of these elements, their dosha. There are 3 primary doshas: Vata (Ether and Ar), Pitta (Fire and Water) and Kapha (Earth and Water).
The goal of any therapeutic process is to inhibit the evolution of the problem, restore quality of life and provide prevention and maintenance of health at all levels. Ayurvedic massage is much
more than a relaxing massage, it is a treatment in which the wearer perceives himself as a whole!
The Ayurvedic Therapeutic Massage allows to balance symptoms of disharmony through the connection of mind, body and spirit. It promotes deeper and more natural breathing patterns, strengthens the immune system, helps the digestive system and promotes better levels of energy. In addition to working in depth on the physical body, this technique of massage of oiling works on the marma points and the natural circuits of the body, acts on the chakras and various energetic circuits of the so-called occult anatomy, harmonizing them. It is a holistic, integrative and complementary therapy between Man and the Whole, based on the theory of the 5 elements (ether, air, fire, water and earth).
